As part of our commitment to health and safety, Columbia develops project specific Safety and Crisis Management Plans for each project, identifying and addressing project specific health and safety risks and concerns. Part of this plan must include mandatory weekly jobsite safety meetings as well as safety training on site, educating workers on task specific safety risks.

Safety Program

While all of our superintendents and project managers are loginOSHA certified, we develop mandatory site specific safety orientations for all workers, including subcontractors and vendors. Along with developing these site specific safety programs, our Safety Director, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), as well as a Certified OSHA Instructor, also conducts frequent job site inspections and compliance surveys.
